UEFA has issued details of its UEFA Champions League earnings distribution system for the 2014/15 season. The gross commercial sales in the 2014/15 UEFA Champions League and the 2014 UEFA Super Cup for this campaign is estimated at around EUR1.34bn.
From the estimated gross commercial sales, EUR55m will be assigned only to the playoffs, as was the situation in the 2013/14 season. Every one of the 20 teams involved in the playoffs will be given a fixed quantity of EUR2.1m. Following the deduction of the apportionment for the teams active in the playoffs, the gross sum readily available for the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Super Cup totals EUR1.285bn.
