League Two side Portsmouth have declared the club is now formally debt-free, two years ahead of schedule and just 18 months after a lovers’ association took over possession.
Pompey are eighth in the table following a strong beginning to the season as well as the prognosis at Fratton Park looks favorable after enduring three relegations, two governments and five different owners within a troubled period which endangered the entire future of the football club.
