Jim Bentley said he expects Shrewsbury to gain promotion this season after watching Morecambe lose 1-0 at the Greenhous Meadow.
An inspired goalkeeping display from the busy Scott Davies looked like earning Morecambe a point until substitute Andy Mangan claimed an 86th-minute winner for Shrewsbury.
