Brendan Rodgers hailed the character of his Liverpool side after they rallied from a goal and a man down to salvage a 2-2 draw against Arsenal and stated his belief that a top-four place was still within reach.
Liverpool required a goal in the seventh minute of added time to earn a point against an Arsenal side who had rallied after falling behind to Philippe Coutinho’s 44th-minute goal. A header against the run of play by Mathieu Debuchy had taken the Gunners in level at the break before Olivier Giroud gave Arsenal a second-half lead.
