Louis van Gaal has supported Wayne Rooney will play in Sunday’s Manchester derby but denied his captain continues to be carrying an injury.
“Rooney had not been injured, perhaps his shoe was too tight, that is potential, however he had not been injured,” joked the Manchester United manager in a press conference on Friday.
